Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini all had one thing in common: They were power hungry leaders who did anything they could to win wars and conquer other countries for more land. They also gained power by recruiting a group of people who believed in their philosophy, which led to a larger group of followers, and eventually led to their rise in power. In the end, each of the leaders' parties took over the entire nation and impacted each of their countries in both negative and positive ways.
Here are side by side pictures of what streets looked like before and after each of the leaders from Germany, Italy, and Russia took over.
In the pictures. there is a major difference between the two images of each group of the before and afters on the street. It is clearly shown that there is much more nationalism, or pride, in their countries and much respect towards the leaders.
