The Causes of World War II
How the war started
When Hitler slowly broke the Treaty of Versailles, he was not punished and continued breaking it. Hitler took advantage of the political and economic situation in Germany and lead the German people to blame others for the situation. Hitler used the unhappiness of the German people to help him rise to power. Hitler signed treaties with Italy and got more weapons for his country. When he invaded Poland, Britain and France had to declare war on Germany.

The ambition of these leaders to dominate the economy, and the government, was the reason why they started to colonize other countries.
Italian dictator Benito Mussolini allied with Hitler, trusting him and supporting his leadership during World War II. He was killed after the German surrender in Italy in 1945.

The Causes:
This war is considered the continuation of World War I because there were many issues that were unsolved in the First World War.
Treaty of Versailles This treaty consisted in making a punishment for Germany to surrender in World War I and also to prevent them from starting another war. The compromise that Germany had to agreed on was:
